  • Busy, established practice well-staffed with tenured nurses and support staff

Opportunity Information

Baptist Memorial Hospital-Yazoo is a 25-bed critical access hospital offering inpatient, outpatient and advanced diagnostic services, and also specialty clinics in cardiology, general surgery, cataract and eye surgery, pain management, gastrointestinal (GI)/endoscopy, orthopedics, wound care, and outpatient physical and rehabilitation, and a geriatric day program.

The clinic is located inside the hospital, and is staffed by a physician who has practiced in that community for over 20 years, and 3 nurse practitioners. This opportunity is for outpatient only with a 1:4 night/weekend phone call rotation. This busy practice sees all ages, and is considered a Rural Health Clinic. This is an ideal opportunity for a rural health scholar or anyone who wants to practice small town medicine, with a large, corporate support system.
